Mouse PTGES ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro determination of mouse Prostaglandin E Synthase/MPGES-1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour colorimetric assay uses a pre-coated microplate and is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The kit shows no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants of Prostaglandin E Synthase/MPGES-1. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated healthy serum dilutions are 1:5-1:10 and healthy plasma dilutions are 1:5-1:10.

Average recovery from spiked samples was 94% for serum (range 86%-105%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 89%-105%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 90%-104%). The kit is shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
