Mouse Protein Disulfide Isomerase A2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Protein Disulfide Isomerase A2 (PDIA2/PDIP) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PDIA2/PDIP, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PDIA2/PDIP Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that changes to yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery values were 80-102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave recoveries of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
