Mouse Protein C Receptor, Endothelial ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Endothelial Protein C Receptor (EPCR/CD201) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for EPCR/CD201 pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where EPCR/CD201 is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following a wash step, a Biotinylated Anti-EPCR/CD201 Antibody is added, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After further incubation and washing, a TMB substrate is used to generate a colour reaction, which is stopped with acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and EPCR/CD201 concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 28.6 pg/ml and a quantitative working range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, recovery and dilution linearity values have been reported in the 74–108% range. Detection is colorimetric, performed on a microplate reader, and kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated.
