Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Mouse Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 (PCSK9) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PCSK9 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and employs biotinylated anti-PCSK9 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate detection with TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterized in serum (80% - 102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81% - 100%, average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma (80% - 89%, average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity data provided for each sample type at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
