Mouse Prolactin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of mouse Prolactin/PRL in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The pre-coated plate uses a 12 x 8 well strip format with an immobilized capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-Prolactin/PRL detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, where absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and is proportional to Prolactin/PRL concentration.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.063 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes and results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.

Mean recovery is 91% (range 80–102%, n=5) in serum, 90% (81–100%, n=5) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (80–89%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity is maintained across 1:2 to 1:16 for serum (74–107%), EDTA plasma (79–108%), and heparin plasma (82–105%).
