Mouse Prokineticin Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Prokineticin Receptor 1 (PK-R1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The pre-coated 96-well microplate is provided in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Standards and test samples are incubated in wells coated with an antibody specific for PK-R1, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PK-R1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate solution is added; HRP-catalysed conversion produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, with yellow intensity proportional to the amount of PK-R1 captured in each well, quantified by reference to a standard curve.

The product range spans 0.156–10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.04 ng/ml. Sample recovery validation (n=5) yielded average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was confirmed for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
