Mouse Prokineticin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Prokineticin 2/PK2 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-Prokineticin 2/PK2 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate solution, with the colour change read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported sensitivity is <0.088 ng/ml, the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. In the supplied recovery data, serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81%–100%), and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. The microplate, standard, detection solutions and sample dilution buffer are stored at -20°C, while the wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution are stored at +4°C.
