Mouse Prohibitin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Prohibitin in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) coated with an antibody specific for Prohibitin, employing a biotinylated anti-Prohibitin detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate for colourimetric detection read at 450 nm. Standards and samples are captured by the immobilised antibody, washed, incubated with biotinylated detection antibody, then with HRP conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change proportional to Prohibitin concentration that is quantified against a standard curve.

The assay has a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.097 ng/ml and a total protocol time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is suited to tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
