Mouse Procollagen II N-Terminal Propeptide ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Procollagen II N-Terminal Propeptide in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with immobilised capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-Procollagen II N-Terminal Propeptide detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.195 ng/ml, and the assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in mouse samples (n=5) yielded average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity of dilution has been demonstrated at ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date. Reagents supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
