Mouse Procollagen I N-Terminal Propeptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Procollagen I N-Terminal Propeptide in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate, with a stated product range of 93.8-6000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 35.57 pg/ml. Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Recovery was assessed in spiked samples (n=5): serum 80%-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma 81%-100% with an average of 90%, and heparin plasma 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was also reported across the same sample types. The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-Procollagen I N-Terminal Propeptide detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution to produce a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to the amount of analyte captured.
