Mouse Procollagen I C-Terminal Propeptide ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Procollagen I C-Terminal Propeptide ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Procollagen I C-Terminal Propeptide in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, read on a microplate reader, with an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.249 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using an antibody specific for Procollagen I C-Terminal Propeptide. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-target detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, which produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and the target concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

Reported recovery across five replicates averaged 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). The kit is supplied with pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
