Mouse Prenylcysteine Oxidase 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Prenylcysteine Oxidase 1 (PCYOX1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for PCYOX1 is pre-coated onto a microplate, standards and samples are added, and captured PCYOX1 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-PCYOX1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.072 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been validated for serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 91%, range 81–101%), and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80–89%). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Reactivity is mouse, and kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
