Mouse Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay enables in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PAPP A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 × 8 well strips and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity below 0.065 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/mL. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as directed.

Spike-and-recovery performance was evaluated across three sample matrices. Serum (n=5) showed an average recovery of 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81%–100%), and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80%–89%). Linearity upon serial dilution was also reported: serum (n=5) gave 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; heparin plasma (n=5) gave 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.
