Mouse Polymeric Immunoglobulin Receptor ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Polymeric Immunoglobulin Receptor (PIGR), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for quantitative measurement in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate comprising 12 x 8 well strips and produces a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a standard microplate reader, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is less than 1.34 ng/ml, with a working standard range of 3.12 to 200 ng/ml. Validation data show average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is supported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Storage conditions vary by component: the microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions and sample dilution buffer are stored at –20°C, while wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution are stored at +4°C. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
