Mouse Podoplanin ELISA Kit

The assay uses an antibody specific for Podoplanin/gp36 that is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips. Captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Podoplanin/gp36 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, supporting quantitative measurement in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. The complete assay takes 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) yielded averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, parallel recovery ranges were 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
