Mouse Platelet Factor 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the quantitative measurement of Platelet Factor 4 (PF4) in mouse samples. The kit is designed for the in vitro determination of mouse PF4 in serum, platelet-poor plasma, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, performed by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and comparing values to a standard curve. The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The product range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is 27 pg/ml.

Recovery data supplied with the kit cover three matrices. In serum (n=5) the range is 80%-102% with an average of 91%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) the range is 81%-100% with an average of 90%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) the range is 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity is also reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for serum and cell culture supernates.

The kit is reactive with mouse samples and specific for PF4.
