Mouse Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

Manufactured under the Antibodies.com brand, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CD31, also known as Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule, in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for CD31; standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CD31 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader and is proportional to the CD31 concentration.

The quantitative working range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <6.5 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colourimetric and the kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Published recovery data include average values of 91% in serum (range 80%–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%) across n=5 for each sample type.
