Mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor C ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor C (PDGFC) in plasma. The assay employs an antibody specific for PDGFC pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where PDGFC is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-PDGFC detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 13.5 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The platform is a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reactivity is mouse. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%).
