Mouse Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase Receptor ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse uPA Receptor/U-PAR in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for uPA Receptor/U-PAR is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added and the target analyte present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-uPA Receptor/U-PAR Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the analyte concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <47 pg/ml with an assay range of 125-8000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported average recovery (n=5) is 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
