Mouse Plasminogen Activator, Tissue ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich-format enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Plasminogen Activator in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. A 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Tissue Plasminogen Activator; standards and test samples are added so that target present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-Tissue Plasminogen Activator detection antibody binds the captured target, then an HRP-avidin conjugate is added. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader with concentration calculated against the standard curve.

Manufacturer-quoted performance figures include an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In dilution testing (n=5 per matrix) across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, serum gave 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma gave 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; and heparin plasma gave 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
