Mouse Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 2 (SerpinB2/PAI-2) in plasma samples. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a standard sandwich immunoassay format with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Quantitative measurement is supported by a standard curve spanning 0.312-20 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.134 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been characterised in matched serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5), with average recoveries of 91% (serum, range 80%-102%), 90% (EDTA plasma, range 81%-100%) and 84% (heparin plasma, range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 is also reported for the three sample types.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The product is intended for research use in measuring mouse SerpinB2/PAI-2 in plasma.
