Mouse Placenta Growth Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Placenta Growth Factor (PLGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-PLGF detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is <0.56 pg/ml, the assay range is 1.56-100 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validated recovery is 80-102% for serum (average 91%, n=5), 81-100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5) and 80-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is provided for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%).
