Mouse Phospholipase A2, Lipoprotein Associated ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with an antibody specific for Lp-PLA2, with detection through a biotinylated anti-Lp-PLA2 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported assay sensitivity is <0.62 ng/ml, with a working range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery averaged 91% in serum, 91% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma, and linearity has been evaluated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 sample dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
