Mouse Phosphoinositide-3-Kinase Class-2-Alpha Polypeptide ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PI 3 Kinase Class 2A/Cpk in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PI 3 Kinase Class 2A/Cpk. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-PI 3 Kinase Class 2A/Cpk antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; the concentration of PI 3 Kinase Class 2A/Cpk is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Storage instructions require kit components to be kept at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery values reported are: serum (n=5) 83-100% (mean 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-98% (mean 94%); heparin plasma (n=5) 90-99% (mean 94%). Dilution linearity for serum (n=5) was 90-99% at 1:2, 82-108% at 1:4, 82-96% at 1:8 and 92-103% at 1:16. For EDTA plasma (n=5): 84-105%, 88-94%, 89-107% and 72-106% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. For heparin plasma (n=5): 89-92%, 88-108%, 84-102% and 90-98% at the same dilutions.
