From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PDE1C/PDE1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PDE1C/PDE1, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-PDE1C/PDE1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is quantified by absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.053 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Overall recovery values are reported for serum (range 83–100%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, average 96%, n=5), and heparin plasma (range 89–102%, average 95%, n=5). Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions, with serum ranging 79–110%, EDTA plasma 73–109%, and heparin plasma 77–110%.
