Mouse Phosphodiesterase 12 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PDE12 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for PDE12 immobilised on the wells. Standards and test samples are incubated in the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PDE12 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is by TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) averages 91% (range 83–100%), in EDTA plasma 96% (90–103%), and in heparin plasma 95% (89–102%). Linearity data are provided for dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
