Mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma (PPAR gamma) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The stated measuring range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml, and the assay can be completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Captured PPAR gamma is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-PPAR gamma Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to PPAR gamma concentration and is read against a standard curve. Validation data report average recoveries of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix).
