Mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Delta ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Delta (PPAR delta) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The plate is read colorimetrically on a microplate reader at 450 nm. An antibody specific for PPAR delta is pre-coated onto the wells; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-PPAR delta antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after stop solution addition, with absorbance proportional to PPAR delta concentration.

The product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.052 ng/ml; total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum (n=5) gave an average of 91% (range 80-102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81-100%) and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices.

Kits include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
