Mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Alpha (PPAR alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and employs a biotinylated detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product measured at 450 nm. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the kit is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Quantitative performance specifications include a standard curve range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery validation in mouse serum gave 80-102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 81-100% (average 90%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 80-89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity of dilution was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%).
