Mouse Peripherin ELISA Kit

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Peripherin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate, arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, to which an antibody specific for Peripherin has been immobilised. Standards and samples are added, and captured Peripherin is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Peripherin Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a reported product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.048 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Sample recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has been assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample types. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
