Mouse Perilipin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Perilipin-1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) pre-coated with an antibody specific for Perilipin-1, a biotinylated anti-Perilipin-1 detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to analyte concentration; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and values are interpolated from a standard curve. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.051 ng/ml with a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the kit is validated for mouse reactivity only. Reported spike-and-recovery ranges (n=5) are serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity for 1:2 to 1:16 is also documented across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the manual and not used past the stated expiration date.
