Mouse Peptide YY ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Peptide YY/PYY in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Peptide YY/PYY detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose density is proportional to analyte concentration and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit offers a stated product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <4.9 pg/ml and a typical assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery across n=5 samples is 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is also reported across these matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
