Mouse Pepsinogen C ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Pepsinogen II/PGC in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and results are read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Manufacturer-stated performance specifications include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery values for n=5 samples are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma. The assay principle uses a biotinylated anti-Pepsinogen II/PGC detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to the amount of Pepsinogen II/PGC captured in each well.
