Mouse P-Selectin Glycoprotein Ligand 1 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse P-Selectin Glycoprotein Ligand 1 (PSGL-1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PSGL-1. Standards and samples are added to the wells, then washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-PSGL-1 Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of PSGL-1 captured. The concentration is calculated by reading absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.065 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. The assay is run on a colourmetric microplate reader platform. Recovery has been characterised across matrices, with averages of 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has also been tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
