Mouse Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Oxidized LDL in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in which an antibody specific for Oxidized LDL is pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and test samples are added and any Oxidized LDL present is bound by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Oxidized LDL Antibody is added and binds the captured analyte. HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added and, after further incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is used to visualize the reaction. The chromogen changes from blue to yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution, and the concentration of Oxidized LDL is calculated from the absorbance read at 450 nm against a standard curve using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated assay range of 6.25-400 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <2.18 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate platform. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the protocol is described as easy to follow.
