Mouse Octamer Binding Transcription Factor 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse OCT4 (Octamer Binding Transcription Factor 4) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The capture antibody is specific for OCT4 and the kit is classified within the Assays and Kits category.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate strip format with an immobilised anti-OCT4 capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-OCT4 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Visualisation uses TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

Reported spike-and-recovery performance includes serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n=5). Linearity data are provided at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
