Mouse Nuclear Factor Kappa B2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Nuclear Factor Kappa B2 (NFkB p100/NFKB2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, onto which an antibody specific for NFkB p100/NFKB2 has been immobilised. Standards and samples are added, captured NFkB p100/NFKB2 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-NFkB p100/NFKB2 Antibody, and HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate is used for visualisation, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to target concentration.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml, a colourimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised across n=5 samples per matrix, with averages and ranges of: serum 91% (80–102%), EDTA plasma 90% (81–100%) and heparin plasma 84% (80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has been reported for serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%).

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The product is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
