Mouse Nuclear Factor Kappa B ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NFkB p105 / p50 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for NFkB p105 / p50 is immobilised on the plate, standards and test samples are added, and captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-NFkB p105 / p50 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the resulting colour change, proportional to the amount of analyte captured in each well, is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Manufacturer performance figures include a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colourmetric and read on a standard colorimetric microplate reader.

Validation data supplied by the manufacturer shows recovery in serum (n=5) ranging 87%-100% with a 93% average, in EDTA plasma (n=5) ranging 89%-99% with a 94% average, and in heparin plasma (n=5) ranging 90%-98% with a 94% average. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was reported as serum 81-110%, 82-98%, 90-100%, 80-108%; EDTA plasma 92-97%, 90-107%, 70-107%, 89-93%; and heparin plasma 86-104%, 79-103%, 95-100%, 86-110%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
