Mouse Nicotinamide-N-Methyltransferase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for NNMT, and captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-NNMT Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after the addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay covers a range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Manufacturer-reported recovery averages 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
