Mouse Neutrophil Gelatinase Associated Lipocalin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Lipocalin-2/NGAL in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, urine, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate with immobilised anti-Lipocalin-2/NGAL capture antibody; standards and samples are co-incubated, then detected using a biotinylated anti-Lipocalin-2/NGAL antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate read at 450 nm. The quantification range is 0.625–40 ng/ml and the reported sensitivity is 0.285 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min.

Reported recovery from undiluted serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each) averages 84–91% across an 80–102% span, and linearity has been assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
