Mouse Neurotrophin 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Neurotrophin 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a Neurotrophin 3-specific antibody, with detection via a biotinylated anti-Neurotrophin 3 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow colour proportional to Neurotrophin 3 concentration, which is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery values were 80–102% in serum (average 91%), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%).
