Mouse Neuroglobin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Neuroglobin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Neuroglobin. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Neuroglobin detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and Neuroglobin concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance specifications include an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.42 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Manufacturer-validated recovery values for spiked samples include serum (range 80%-102%, n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5, average 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5, average 84%). Linearity-of-dilution data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5 per matrix).
