Mouse Neurogenin 3 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Neurogenin 3 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for Neurogenin 3 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate, and bound target is detected using a biotinylated anti-Neurogenin 3 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery performance has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with mean recoveries of 91% (serum, range 80–102%), 91% (EDTA plasma, range 81–101%), and 84% (heparin plasma, range 80–89%) across n=5 samples per matrix. Dilution linearity has also been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in the same sample types.
