Mouse Neurofilament, Light Polypeptide ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the quantitative determination of mouse 68kDa Neurofilament/NF-L in serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for 68kDa Neurofilament/NF-L. Following incubation with standards and samples, captured target is detected using a biotinylated anti-68kDa Neurofilament/NF-L antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a colour change proportional to the amount of target bound, which is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is reactive with mouse samples, with a stated sensitivity of 12.5 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Typical total assay time is 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Performance has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, including spiked recovery and linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each sample matrix.
