Mouse Neprilysin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Neprilysin, referred to as CD10 in the manufacturer's product information, in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay is intended for mouse samples and falls within the Assays and Kits product range.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate in which standards and test samples are added to wells containing an immobilized capture antibody specific for the target. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-CD10 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of target captured, and concentration is calculated by reading O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <33 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml. Recovery across sample types (n=5 each) is reported as: serum 80-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80-89% (average 84%). Sample dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is also provided across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).
