Mouse N-Terminal Pro Brain Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, the Mouse NT-ProBNP ELISA Kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NT-ProBNP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colorimetric detection, reading the optical density at 450 nm on a microplate reader following incubation with TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution. The antibody-based capture and detection workflow employs a biotinylated anti-NT-ProBNP antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with the intensity of the developed colour proportional to the amount of NT-ProBNP bound in each well.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <36 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported sample recovery averages are 91% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 is reported for each of the three sample types.
