Mouse N-Acetyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse N-Acetyltransferase 1 (NAT1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate onto which an antibody specific for NAT1 has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added and any NAT1 present is captured on the plate. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-NAT1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and NAT1 concentration is calculated from a standard curve.

The kit has a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been validated for serum (mean 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (mean 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (mean 84%, range 80–89%) across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
