Mouse N-Acetylgalactosaminidase Alpha ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NAGA (N-Acetylgalactosaminidase Alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for NAGA pre-coated onto a microplate, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-NAGA Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The quantitative assay covers a standard range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 12.9 pg/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81–100%), and in heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80–89%). Linearity upon dilution has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl) and Detection Solution B (120 μl), Wash Buffer (30X; 20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers.
