Mouse Myotubularin Related Protein 9 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Myotubularin Related Protein 9 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) to capture the target, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-Myotubularin Related Protein 9 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance in samples (n=5) is reported as 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the product insert, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
