Mouse Myotrophin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Myotrophin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and uses a colourimetric pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips) read on a standard microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay employs an antibody specific for Myotrophin pre-coated onto a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are added, captured Myotrophin is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Myotrophin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction (blue product turning yellow after addition of acidic stop solution). The reported assay range is 6.25–400 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <2.67 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported recovery values include serum (n=5) average 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma average 90% (range 81–100%), and heparin plasma average 84% (range 80–89%). Linearity across dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is provided for all three sample types. Kit components are to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
